DirectTrack is a property of Direct Response Technologies, Inc. based in Pittsburgh , PA. Direct Response was founded in 1994 under the name Advertising Concepts, Inc. In January 2006, Direct Response was acquired by Digital River, Inc. (NASDAQ: DRIV), a global leader in eCommerce solutions.

DirectTrack was originally created in 1997 to run the DirectLeads affiliate network. DirectLeads is also a property of Direct Response Technologies. In early 2002 we decided to move away from being a company focused on Media Services and become a technology solutions provider. In March 2002 we began to sell DirectTrack as to Merchants who wanted to run their own affiliate program as well as Agencies and Affiliate Marketers who wanted to start their own Affiliate Network. The market for this service proved to be immediately successful. Within months we were powering dozens of affiliate networks as far away as Australia.

In 2004, seeing that many of the Merchants and Networks that we powered were working together to promote each others offers, we created a private community called CrossPublication to make it easier for DirectTrack users to do business with one another. Since its inception, the CrossPublication community has exploded with more than 2,000 campaigns and hundreds of new relationships formed between the DirectTrack clientele.

DirectTrack now powers hundreds of Ad Networks and several hundred Merchant affiliate programs world-wide.
